A River Trip in SE Asia

We often get calls asking if we can help a team visiting various places. Yes we can! This note will give you an example of one recent request.

I’ll try to recapture what happened with our team. I called you from California in early February requesting the solar-powered cassette recorders for my husband’s team going to Kalimantan, Indonesia. You shipped the six players and all six players are now in villages up and down the Kapuas River! We thought we would wait a few months and then go back to the villages to follow up and see if they are being used, and what the response has been. There are national church planters doing follow up now. Please pass on our thanks and excitement about being able to give these to the people of Indonesia! Many of the villages do not have schools, so reading would be a challenge. It is great to give those who cannot read something they can hear.
