The men involved just turned down another offer for a secure, safe, ministry job. They are not young men. They know the risks and challenges. But they have devoted their time and lives to bringing God's Word in audio to remote jungle languages of Peru. They have just finished the Yaminahua New Testament recording. 
Audio Scripture Ministries has been involved in this project from conception. A couple years ago, there was talk of need to bring the audio Scriptures to the jungle tribal groups of Peru. Working with translators and a national Peruvian ministry, ASM helped with initial computers, software and advice at the early stages. Our position was a partner and facilitator. Leadership was coming from the Peruvians themselves.
As the planning developed, a simple studio needed to be constructed. Then, final meetings with interested parties to see how all could work together. 
At least eleven (11) new language groups could have God's Word in audio for themselves. As this is being written, the request for the second language project funding has been received.
