The Need:

Both Christians and non-christians in Mozambique are eager to learn more about God. This is exciting, but it also poses a problem since most people in Mozambique could not read a Bible even if they had one. Over sixty percent of Mozambique's population is illiterate.

Audio Scripture Ministries is working to get the Bible School children listening to a digital Scripture player into the hands of these people in a form that they can use and understand. Personal digital audio Scripture players contain a native language translation of the Bible. These digital audio Scripture players are rugged, easy to use and solar powered so they can provide years of service in harsh environments. A gift of $40 will enable a Mozambican family to receive a Digital Scripture player. Our goal is to raise funds to distribute 1300 digital audio Bibles in Mozambique this year.
