First Audio Scriptures for the Makhuwa

For the first time ever there are Scriptures available in audio for the Makhuwa people of Northern Mozambique!  After many months of recording and editing done by Sergio Muianga and his staff at Crown of Victory Studio, the New Testament recording has been completed.  There are about 2.5 million Makhuwas in Mozambique where 2/3 of the population is still illiterate.  There has been a growing anticipation surrounding this project, and we are excited to see how the Lord will use this recording.  

The Makhuwa N.T. is the first full New Testament recording to be completed in Crown of Victory Studios since it's dedication in July of 2005.  Besides Scripture recordings, the studio is also used for recording Bible stories, Christian music, and has been an integral part in the production of an "audio Sunday School" program being utilized throughout Southern Mozambique.  The staff of Crown of Victory Studios has faced many adversities over the past years but have persevered and are now starting to see the fruits of their labor.  In a recent letter, Sergio had the following words to pass along to you:

"I would like to recognize by expressing special words of thanks to all those volunteers who have been helping us with prayers in many different ways. We greatly appreciate their willingness to hear changed lives in Mozambique through the studio, please pass our greetings to them, God bless each of them."
