Chad Vanden Bosch, Technical Projects Coordinator for ASM, just returned from Togo, West Africa where he spend two weeks training national believers in basic digital audio recording. The training took place at the Kempton Memorial Hospital near the town of Adeta. Those trained have already begun recording a Scripture translation in the Ewe language. There are over 1 million Ewe speakers in Togo where the literacy rate hovers around 50%. There is a huge need for audio Scriptures not only in Ewe but in many of the 40 languages spoken there.
